The Courage Coach

Davina Lloyd has enjoyed careers in several worlds. One-time journalist, columnist, broadcaster, businesswoman and publisher. Now, as a coach, trainer and facilitator she focuses on sharing what she has learned about overcoming life’s challenges from a wide working background and close personal experience of dependency and addiction, divorce and bringing up children as a single parent to redundancy and re-creating a new way of living and working each time the old one comes to a close.

“I have had the privilege of enjoying much success in my life,” she says, “but I have certainly learned more that is useful to pass on out of the mistakes, mishaps and downright failures. After a lifetime of doing all sorts of things, from being an “agony aunt” to setting up a publishing company, being the chief executive of a successful company, and being the chief executive of a company that failed abysmally, recruiting, training, facilitating and advising companies and individuals– I find my greatest fulfilment in assisting others to recognise and become who they were born to be.”
Experience and training includes:
  • Counselling training with Relate (Marriage Guidance Counsel)
  • Certificate in Personal Performance Coaching (Coaching Academy)
  •  Appreciative Inquiry Practioner

Davina is passionate about encouraging people – of all ages - to recognise their own worth and grow a positive sense of self. She is a mother of two grown up children, a student of meditation and continues to be a lifelong learner.

A skilled and stimulating communicator, with a gift for unfolding a subject in such a way that listeners examine it anew, explore what they believe, and take away new insights, Davina engage participants with humour, wisdom and warmth, she has a gift for creating a safe space where participants feel free to express their inner feelings and grow themselves in the process.

"I continue learn from those I work with, and feel privileged to walk alongside those who have made the decision to face their fears full-on, outcome those self-limiting beliefs and start to create - and live - the life they've dream of."
